Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan recently kick-started her wedding rituals with long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. The paper-signing ceremony (which was the first formal ritual to take place) began with quite a surprise; Because Shikhare jogged to the ceremony! Yep, you read that right. Even in the images, we can see Mr. Nupur Shikhare wearing a simple shirt and joggers while signing the papers.
But this really piqued our interest, and we started wondering who Nupur Shikhare really is? I mean, the bloke jogged to his wedding, what’s the angle there? Well, we’ve figured some details out about him and here is what we’ve found.
Nupur Shikhare is a fitness trainer and enthusiast. He hails from Pune, and completed his school education from S.D. Kataria High School, and then later went on to finish his higher studies at R.A. Poddar College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. He has participated in competitions such as the triathlon races of Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2014, and the American reality sports entertainment competition Ultimate Beastmaster Season 2 and has also been a state-level tennis player.
From what we can tell from his Instagram profile, Mr. Shikhare also enjoys dancing and that seems only natural since his mother is a dance teacher herself.
Apart from this, he has trained Aamir Khan, his partner Ira Khan and Sushmita Sen as well. In fact, the former Miss Universe winner and Nupur Shikhare have quite a long-standing professional relationship.
Nupur Shikhare and Ira Khan began dating in 2020 and got engaged in November, 2022. The two seem to have cultivated a super supportive relationship for each other and we wish them all the very best for their future together!
