It’s a saying we take quite seriously at POPxo Fashion. What’s the point of fashion if you can’t have a little bit of fun with it?
And yes, we’re hardcore millennials! Memes are second language to us. And we pride ourselves on the ability to laugh at ourselves, and everything around us. It’s what keeps us sane in an insane world.
This past weekend, Diana Penty, wore a dress that reminded me personally of one thing and one thing only – tin foil! Remember when you were in school and your grade had to put up a fashion show without using any actual fabric? That foil transported me backstage at my high school’s annual function, frantically taping the ends of my tin foil dress to avoid unravelling on stage.
Of course, we made a meme on it! (Diana Penty, not high school. Thankfully, I didn’t keep records of my high school days.)

Diana Penty, like the absolute class act that she is, had a laugh too. Wish we could say that about Instagram account @dietsabya that’s calling out fashion copycats. Oh, well it was all done in good humour and Penty agrees!
