‘Doli saja ke rakhna, lene tujhe o gori aayenge tere sajna” — we are pretty sure that this track is on the Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s shaadi playlist! After months of anticipation and speculations, the big day is finally here and we honestly can’t keep calm. While the couple has kept everything under the wraps so far, we did get some major updates about the bridal entry.
A little birdie tells us that Katrina will be making a traditional bridal entry in a decorated doli. Meanwhile, the dulhe raja will be arriving at the madap in a horse carriage. Everything about this wedding is royal AF!
Not many people know this but Katrina has actually manifested her dream wedding! In a 2012 interview, the Bharat actress revealed her shaadi plans and said, “I want to get married in a haveli in a royal Indian style.” Now that’s what you call living the dream!
We are so happy to see how everything is falling in place for the couple. Our only question is, ‘photos kab aayengi?’ So far, the couple has not released a single snap or video from the event (BRB, crying in a corner). According to the grapevine, Vicky and Katrina have sold the exclusive wedding video ownership to an OTT streaming giant. We wonder if that’s the reason why all the guests at the #VicKat’s wedding have not posted anything on social media.
Earlier this week, a welcome note from the shaadi went viral on the ‘Gram. The note read, “You are finally here! We hope you enjoy the road trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore. Please enjoy the refreshments that we have put together, while your journey through scenic villages and roads. Sit back, relax and brace yourselves for a fun-filled, exciting adventure! We request you to please leave your mobile phones in your respective rooms and refrain from posting pictures or using social media for any of the ceremonies and events. We can’t wait to see you!”
ATM, all we can do is wait for the wedding pictures and sing, ‘Inteha Ho Gayi Intezaar Ki!‘ We are beyond excited to see Katrina as a dulhan!
