Ever since Rahul and Disha announced their wedding date, fans have been eagerly waiting for any info on their upcoming wedding. And guess what? We just got all the deets of their shaadi functions.
Given Rahul and Disha’s love for intimate ceremonies, we’re not surprised that they have chosen to keep the marriage ceremony, close friends and family, only. A little birdie also revealed that the couple has a fun sangeet/cocktail celebration planned. A source revealed, “Rahul and Disha have been making their wedding plans for a long time. While the main marriage ceremony would be a simple one, the party is for the family and friends to have some fun.” TBH, it sounds like the perfect wedding. The source also added, “Everyone has been prepping up to perform at the event, which will be held at a luxury hotel in Mumbai.”
Rahul and Disha even shared a sneak-peak of their close friends and family rehearsing for their sangeet. And oh boy, it seemed like the clan was having a whole lotta fun. Have a look.
For the ones who don’t remember, Rahul and Disha met each other through mutual friends and even shot their first music video together in the same year. They were often spotted together however the two claimed to be just good friends until Rahul participated in Bigg Boss 14. That’s when things changed between them. The Yaad Teri singer realised his love for Disha when he was locked in the house of Bigg Boss and the rest is history. We’re pretty sure you don’t need us reminding you about that epic proposal on National television. Since then, the duo has been planning to get married but unfortunately had to keep postponing every time due to the pandemic.
Earlier, Rahul was quoted saying, “Yes, we have had to push our wedding quite a few times because of the pandemic. Owing to the ongoing crisis, we can invite only 25 people, while I would want at least my close relatives and friends in attendance.”
However, we’re really glad that their shaadi is finally happening and are excited to have a look at their wedding pics. We’re certain that their wedding pictures are going to be every bit as wonderful as the two of them are.
