Bollywood’s longest running and the ongoing feud between Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan has been serving as fodder for rumour mills since 2003.
Need a little recap of the Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai-Vivek Oberoi saga? Well, Aishwarya dated Vivek for a while – after breaking up with Salman. Salman had trouble accepting Vivek and Aishwarya’s relationship. Vivek called a press conference accusing Salman of drunk dialling him 41 times one night and threatening to kill him. Salman, predictably, denied the allegations. Amidst all the drama, Aishwarya decided to call it quits with Vivek and move on in life.
Vivek Oberoi has been asking for Salman Bhai‘s forgiveness ever since. To his dismay, Bhai continues to hold a grudge. He has avoided Vivek at red carpet events, award shows, and even press conferences on multiple occasions. In fact, most believe that the drunk dialling episode put a halt on Vivek’s career in Bollywood despite being a star kid.
Finally, after six years since his last lead role in the 2013′ film Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, Vivek will be next seen in PM Narendra Modi. The Saathiya actor has proven to be a big-time BJP supporter and is now playing the man himself in the biopic. With this film, he is making a comeback in B-town and is all set to get his second ‘big break’.

There were issues with the film’s release as India’s general elections are currently going on. It is now set to release on May 24, a day after the result of the Lok Sabha Elections is declared on May 23. The exit poll results just came out yesterday and social media is full of people’s opinions (read memes) on the same.
Amidst all this, Vivek took to Twitter to share a meme that had photos of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi and husband Abhishek Bachchan and the text ‘Opinion Poll’, ‘Exit Poll’ and ‘Result’ written on them respectively.
Haha! 👍 creative! No politics here….just life 🙏😃
