If you guys think that we are obsessed with Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, then you are right. And there’s a reason for that. Not only do they have the most unusual love story but the way they adore each other is absolutely adorable. Also, after writing numerous articles on Vicky talking about Katrina, we are convinced that Kat has truly found a heera. And yet again, the actor shared a fascinating aspect of his relationship and we want every couple to bookmark it.
The actor appeared on a chat show called Be A Man, Yaar, hosted by Nikhil Taneja. During a candid conversation, Nikhil asked Vicky how he wooed a diva like Katrina. To this, Vicky confessed he couldn’t believe that he was able to impress Katrina. However, he added that her stardom was never the reason behind falling in love. He said, “I had trouble coming to terms with that reality that I can. Those factors were never the reason why I fell in love with Katrina. When I to know the human side of her, I fell in love with her. When I got to know her, I was fully in love with her, and I knew that I would want to have her as my life companion. Nothing else matters. First, I used to feel odd getting attention from her. I used to be like ‘Heh? Are you okay?’ Not that I wasn’t giving a lot of attention, it was mutual. For me also, being from the outside and not knowing her as a human being, she was a phenomenon. She still is. It’s just that the human side also added.”
He further added “Shuru shuru me obviously lagta tha ‘Why me? (initially I used to think, ‘why me’) but she is a lovely human being. She is very compassionate towards the people around and the environment, that for me is the biggest turn-on for me, always.”
This next part of his interview is what stole the show for us. When asked if he ever felt like Katrina might say ‘no’ to marriage, he said that there was never suspense in their relationship. He said, “No, the thing is in our courtship it didn’t reach a stage when it was suspense, if I ask her for marriage, it might be a yes or a no. We just knew from the beginning that this is extremely serious. We are in this to look for something permanent and we had that understanding.”
Vicky and Kat are not just couple goals, but super relatable too. They are as authentic and as real as it gets and we totally love that!
