Vicky Kaushal’s Throwback Picture With Shah Rukh Khan Proves He’s A Jabra Fan!

There is no denying that Vicky Kaushal has made it big in Bollywood without any godfather. He started his journey with a small role (read guest appearance) in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. He shot to fame with Masaan, and well, there was no looking back for Vicky after this romantic drama. He’s given some impactful performances in SanjuRaazi and Uri: The Surgical Strike. And trust me, our josh has been very high ever since.

The actor on numerous occasions has expressed his love for Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a self-made superstar. Recently, Vicky shared a throwback picture with SRK and wrote, “Dreams do come true.”

The image is a collage of two pictures, one from when SRK was filming Asoka and in the other one, Vicky and King Khan are seen hosting an award show together.

What a throwback!

On Karan Johar’s popular chat show, Koffee With Karan, Vicky narrated how he was sitting in his pyjamas watching TV when SRK called him praising his performance in the Netflix original film, Lust Stories. He went on to say that it was a huge thing for him.

Vicky has spoken about his nervousness around SRK in the past. The Uri actor was invited to Shah Rukh’s annual Diwali party in 2018 and he arrived underdressed for the occasion. He said, “Me, Taapsee, Rajkummar Rao…three-four of us were prepared for a birthday casual scene till we realised that we were so off. We were hanging out in one corner behind the curtain. Like, bar ke peeche wale curtain ke peeche wale wall ke peeche. We were like, koi dekh na le humein. I was so embarrassed because I was the first of that lot to enter.”

On the work front, the actor will be seen next in Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship, and biopic of Udham Singh where he plays the titular role. The biopic is based on the life of Udham Singh, a daring martyr who assassinated Michael O’ Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab in pre-Independence India, to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919.

He has also been roped in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht. Clearly, good things lie ahead for this talented actor!
