Urvashi Rautela Came Dressed As A Bird To Cannes & Got Everyone Talking!

You can like her or dislike her, but it is really hard to ignore Urvashi Rautela. The diva is currently taking over at the Cannes Film Festival with one quirky look after another. Regardless of how bizarre her outfit choices are, Urvashi is managing to make headlines with each look. After causing quite a stir with her crocodile necklace and blue lips, the actress now graced the red carpet dressed as a bird!

Urvashi attended the screening of Club Zero on Day 5 of the film festival, and her OOTD quickly went viral. She rocked the red carpet in a floor-length green feather and sequin gown. The embellished ensemble was from Ziad Nakad’s Spring Summer 2023 Couture. The outfit came with cape-like sleeves that resembled a bird’s wings, and Urvashi further enhanced the look with matching feather-adorned headgear.

Urvashi was trolled on the internet for her quirky look, as usual. One user wrote, “My mom made a similar outfit for me in 6th grade and dressed me up as a parrot for a dress party,” and another wrote, “God someone just fire her stylist. I refuse to believe this was at Cannes.”

Although Urvashi was chastised for her outfit, she was not the first to wear it to the French red carpet. Victoria Bonya, a Russian actress, wore the same gown to the festival’s opening ceremony. The actress even shared Urvashi’s outfit on her Instagram story, revealing that Ziad Nakad had asked her whether she would mind if an Indian actress wore the same dress she had previously worn, and she had agreed.
