Kangana Ranaut has evolved into a fearless queen. She says things as they are and doesn’t even shy away from launching open attacks on her contemporaries when needed which has made her a lone wolf in the industry. However, many forget that Kangana has been equally honest when it comes to giving credit where it is due!
Recently I came across an old video of Kangana from a round table discussion with Indian film critic Rajeev Masand. She was joined by Vidya Balan, Nimrit Kaur, and Deepika Padukone. In the video, Deepika Padukone revealed how her parents were not surprised when she first talked about wanting to be a model. However, it was Kangana’s funny reply and her praises for DP that stole the show. She interrupted DP and said, “Yeah, of course, if you look like this. You go like ‘I wanna be a supermodel. And they will be like ‘Of course’.” The Queen actress then laughed and added ‘I had a broken tooth.’
Honestly, can’t stop watching the video on a loop.
When Kangana Praised Deepika For the Oscars
Oscars 2023 was historic for India. However, it was Deepika introducing the Natu Natu song at the Academy Awards that stole everyone’s heart, even Kangana’s. She took to Twitter and praised the Padmaavat actress with the sweetest message. She wrote, “How beautiful @deepikapadukone looks, not easy to stand there holding the entire nation together, carrying its image, reputation on those delicate shoulders and speaking so graciously and confidently. Deepika stands tall as a testimony to the fact that Indian women are the best.”
BRB, manifesting that Kangana and Deepika work together someday!
