Our Bollywood actors never fail to impress us with their stunning airport looks. Recently, Athiya Shetty was spotted at the airport, and surprisingly, it wasn’t her outfit that we were eyeing. She was waiting patiently to meet and greet her boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul, and we think that’s romantic AF.
To avoid paps, the actress remained in her car and waited for her beau to join her. In a video that’s doing the rounds on the internet, we can see Rahul’s staff member placing his luggage in Athiya’s car and both of them leaving together later. Take a look at the clip:
Many fans dropped sweet comments on the video and asked the coupled to get hitched soon. The lovebirds have apparently been dating for a while now, but they made their relationship official quite recently. It was last year in December, when the two appeared as a pair at the screening of Ahan Shetty’s debut film, Tadap. They posed together on the red carpet and we could not stop smiling from ear to ear while looking at them.
Athiya and Rahul have not commented on their relationship officially, but one look at their social media handles is enough to realise that they’re smitten by each other. The cricketer wished his girlfriend Valentine’s Day this year and it was hella romantic. He shared a cute pic of them together and wrote, “Happy ❤️ Day,” to which Athiya replied with a red heart emoji as well.
Athiya and Rahul have been in a solid relationship for a while now and as per a little birdie close to them, the couple may consider getting hitched soon. They always have each other’s back and while talking about their steady bond, the source said, “The couple left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month. Before leaving, the logistics department had asked all players for names of people travelling with each of them. The players were supposed to give the names of whether they would be travelling with wives or partners, for which KL Rahul listed Athiya Shetty as his partner. She travelled in the same bubble and stayed in Southampton with the team.”
Honestly, we wish Athiya had left the car and we had gotten a glimpse of the lovebirds greeting each other. Well, better luck next time!
