Our fave celebs are flooding our Insta-feeds with gorgeous Diwali pics right now. However, out of the many we’ve seen so far, it is Sonam Kapoor’s latest ‘Gram upload that has us going gaga. Earlier today, the newest mommy on the block treated us to an unseen picture of her and her newborn Vayu it’s safe to say, the mother-son duo have us swooning.
Sonam and baby Vayu twinned this Diwali and opted for all-ivory outfits. Sonam wore an Anamika Khanna fusion fit and little Vayu complemented mommy in a matching kurta and pyjama set.
The picture was first uploaded by Rhea Kapoor and later re-shared by Sonam. Rhea posted the pic with a cutesy caption which read, “And back to styling my number one with my best girls. Never looked happier, better and more like herself. @sonamkapoor in @anamikakhanna.in and @re_ceremonial Happy Diwali everyone!”
Sonam further warmed our hearts with more pics from her Diwali celebrations. She hosted a party at her Mumbai home along with Rhea for her close friends and family. TBH, it looked like the festivities were totally LIT. Here, checkout some inside snippets:
As much as we’re elated to see more of Vayu on our Insta-feed, this was not the first time we got a little glimpse of the cutie. Last month, mommy Sonam shared a picture of him on the ‘Gram and explained the meaning of his name.
She wrote, “In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deity’s of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerisingly beautiful. Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family.”
Well, there’s no denying that the little one’s name is absolutely perfect. We now hope that the new parents bless our feed with more pics of little Vayu super soon!
