The wedding episodes in desi soaps are extra special. There’s something so exciting about watching our favourite characters tying the knot and finding their “happily ever after”. The gorgeous costumes are extra bonus! But do you ever think about the actors who shoot these long shaadi-special episodes? Well, some are definitely exhausted, Nakul Mehta being one of them!
Nakul recently shared a Vlog from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 set and gave us a sneak peek of the show’s upcoming wedding. In the clip, the actor introduced himself as the “Go to guy for weddings on Indian television”. He quipped that every time TV producers look at him, they say, “Chalo romantic show banate hain aur bhar bhar ke shaadi karate hain.”
In the Vlog, Nakul also revealed that the upcoming shaadi episode would mark his 18th on-screen wedding! Yes, you read that right. “It looks romantic on TV but I am very exhausted yar,” he added. Here, check out the video:
This is the third time, Nakul is marrying Disha Parmar for a TV show and we too feel bad for the poor guy. As Nakul says, “Itni baar shaadi kaun karta hai yaar?”
Here’s hoping Hindi soap makers have some fresh roles for Nakul after the conclusion of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3. That said, we are, of course, going to enjoy every bit of this upcoming on-screen wedding. Well, what did we say about the excitement of on-screen weddings?
