According to the Indian online ticketing service Book My Show, Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare has received a rating of 8.9. Meanwhile, Barbie has a rating of 7.7 and Oppenheimer has an 8.8 rating. That’s pretty clear that the Kannada film has managed to impress the Indian audience.

The campus comedy film stars Prajwal PB, Manjunath Nayaka, Rakesh Rajkumar, Srivatsa, and Tejas Jayana Urs in prominent roles. In an interview, Nithin opened up about what made the audience engage with the film. He said, “The jokes, treated with a mass appeal, were creative and certain layers of humour seamlessly kept the audience laughing throughout. With so many engaging elements, the film managed to hold their attention effortlessly. It all came together splendidly and worked wonders.“
“This success is promising for directors like me, especially in times when people are wary of experimenting,” added the filmmaker.
