I was pleasantly surprised when my best friend, Tarveen told me that she was all ready to tie the knot with the love of her life. It was an emotional moment too, we had shared lunches together in college, and the fact that she was now about to get married felt a bit surreal as much as exciting.
It was a big fat Punjabi wedding in Delhi with guests flying in from all over the world. I had already taken leave from work and had planned to be her wing woman throughout the shaadi festivities. But all through this, there was only one question looming over my mind…’But what about the MAKEUP?’ I have never really been big on makeup and wanted to look my fabulous best at the wedding. And thus, had only carried a few of my trusted makeup products in my vanity kit, the most important one being – my Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation. I am not blessed with the most perfect skin and a foundation that covers the redness on my face and also matches my skintone can be quite difficult to find. But the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation was a true gem that really did serve its purpose. It helped even out my skintone and also created a smooth base for the rest of my makeup application. Whether it was the outdoor mehendi celebrations or a night-long sangeet function, this foundation made sure that my skin looked flawless even through the (hours long) impromptu naach gaana sessions.
I obviously received a ton of compliments for my flawless skin, which was all thanks to this one amazing product. I don’t remember doing any touchups or even having to apply a primer. The product lasted for a solid 16 hours at a stretch!! It also photographed really well. Do I need to say more?
Since then, the Estee Lauder Foundation has been my ‘go-to’ foundation. It does not make my face look caked up and blends extremely well. And it’s definitely the one product that I’ll stick to for all the upcoming shaadis this season.
