Deepika Padukone‘s Bollywood journey is one for the books. From delivering the biggest hits to now making international, DP has had a stellar run in the entertainment industry so far. While the Piku fame might have found her happily-ever-after in Ranveer Singh, it doesn’t stop her fans from openly confessing their love for her. The most interesting bit? Some of these fans are her fellow co-stars.
Deepika Padukone is currently gearing up for Kalki 2898 AD which also features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Hassan in lead roles. After unveiling the film’s title at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, the cast recently appeared for a media interaction ahead of its release. When Prabhas was asked to share his experience of working with Deepika on Kalki 2898 AD, the actor got candid and openly expressed his love for her.
The Adipurush star shared that Deepika brings positive energy to the sets and also talked about how he always wanted to work with her. In his words, “She’s the biggest superstar, the most beautiful lady, and she’s already famous globally. I think she’s doing Louis Vuitton, TAM AdEX, and the biggest international commercials. So, she’s just vibrant when she comes into the set and I always loved her. I always wanted to work with her.”
All About Kalki 2898 AD!
Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming sci-fi that features a futuristic storyline fused with Indian mythology. While the film has Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, Pasupathy and Disha Patani would also be seen in supporting roles. Made under a huge budget of 600 Cr, Kalki 2898 AD will be released in theatres on January 12, 2024.
Can’t wait to see what this highly-awaited movie has in store for us. We hope Prabhas and Deepika’s on-screen chemistry is worth all the wait!
