Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding pictures and looks broke the internet! The bride looked so fresh and gorgeous all throughout her wedding functions that we couldn’t help but wish we had her bridal wardrobe and trousseau. Sabyasachi is such a magician and he can make any bride look royal and with Deepika’s looks, we weren’t surprised that she looked like a freakin’ queen!

If you ask me, my favourite wedding look was the one in which Ranveer requested her to dress like ‘Freida Kahlo on acid’ and boy, she really did look like “the most beautiful girl in the world”, in her husband’s words.

This bride channelled her inner Deepika and wore the same lehenga on one of her wedding functions and let us tell you that, just like DP, she looked gorgeous!
While both the brides styled their statement Sabyasachi lehengas differently, Deepika’s look being edgy and Mala’s softer and more classic, there is no doubt that this red and pink embroidered lehenga depicting various kinds of blooms was the star of the look. Mala chose to accessorise her lehenga with a polki jadau necklace with maroon stones with matching earrings, maangtikka and simple bracelets. Deepika complimented her lehenga with a jadau choker and equally edgy kadas.
There were two noticeable differences in their looks – the way they draped their dupattas and of course, the hairdo. However, my favourite thing about this twinning duo is that now I have two real-life examples of how to style a lehenga in completely contrasting but equally appealing ways. If this isn’t style inspiration, I don’t know what is!
