The 75th edition of the prestigious Primetime Emmy Awards, which was initially supposed to be held in 2023, is all set to take place in January 2024 now. While there is still some time before the final nomination list drops, we just got to know that a Bollywood actress has become the youngest Indian to serve on the jury for the prestigious awards!
After proving her acting prowess on television and big screens, Radhika Madan added another feather to her hat by turning juror at the 75th edition of the coveted Emmy Awards 2023. Sharing the big update with her ‘Gram fam, the Angrezi Medium actress shared a compilation of videos capturing her journey of auditioning to become a jury member. She also penned a heartwarming caption that read, “So overwhelmed and grateful that I got to be a part of this year’s Jury for the INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARDS. I always dreamt of being nominated but to be on the other side was even more fulfilling. Every day I get up and get to do what I love the most, a joy I wouldn’t trade for anything. Hailing from Delhi, Radhika Madan kickstarted her acting career in 2014 with a popular daily soap, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. She went ahead to do a couple of TV shows and garnered huge popularity. In 2018, she took an exit from the television industry to make her Bollywood film debut in Vishal Bhardwaj’s drama Pataakha alongside Sanya Malhotra. In 2019, her film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota premiered in the Midnight Madness section of the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and won the People’s Choice Award. Some of her most-appreciated works in Bollywood include Angrezi Medium (2020), Shiddat (2021), and Saas, Bahu, Aur Flamingo (2023).
