My idea of fun time includes binging on Belgian cake and binge-watching my fave Bollywood movies. I’ve grown up watching romance movies and enjoy them even today. All that peheli nazar wala pyaar, chance meetings, puri shiddat wali mohabat is sheer entertainment for me! However, the only thing that I don’t enjoy is feeling disappointed after watching perfect characters end up with not-so-great ones. And I bet I’m not the only one who feels this way. How annoying is it to watch a great girl end up with a toxic partner or vice versa? This is why I decided to round up a few movie characters and match them with their true soulmates!
Veronica From Cocktail & Robbie From Manmarziyaan
It’s been almost ten years since Cocktail was released but we’re still confused why Veronica is villainized in the film? She’s social, loves her career, is straight-up clear about the relationships she wants, and doesn’t give a damn about society! If anything, she sounds like a great role model to us!TBH, Gautam does not deserve her, but here’s someone who totes does! Remember Robbie from Manmarziyaan? The Punjabi hunk would accept and respect her past as any man should, and be the cutest BF to her! And oh, both of them live in London too which is convenient.
Natasha From Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara & Ayan From Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
Natasha from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is one character that totally deserves a happy ending. She’s ambitious, has a solid career, and is ready for a serious commitment. I think that she’s perfect for Ayan from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and the two will hit it off instantly! He’d appreciate her strong will and she’d love his ability to commit entirely! Plus, the two would look stunning together! Natasha and Ayan defs seem like a match made in heaven!
Naina From Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani & Aditya From Jab We Met
Naina from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a complete package—she’s serious about her career, prioritises her fam and friends, and is mature. Bunny is the exact opposite of her! He’s selfish, doesn’t care about his loved ones, and is a manchild, which is why the two do not belong together. Aditya from Jab We Met, on the other hand, is serious about his career, respects people, and is way too understanding. They’d make for a great couple. TBH, we don’t know two characters who are better suited for each other than Aditya and Naina.
Arohi From Aashiqui 2 and Krish From 2 States
Arohi from Aashiqui 2 needs someone who would fight for her and Krish from 2 States deserves someone who would not give up on him. This is why the two are perfect for each other. They’re also quite calm-headed and sweet which is why we’re convinced that their relationship will be effortless.
Vaidehi From Badrinath Ki Dulhania & Luv From Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
Watching Vaidehi end up with a creepy stalker like Badri in Badrinath Ki Dulhania only makes us wonder what the makers of the film were thinking! Throughout the movie, Badri practically forces her to be with him and expects her to give up her dreams for him. All the more reasons why he’s not the right guy for her! Luv from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, on the other hand, is someone who will understand Vaidehi’s dreams and encourage her to achieve them. He’s smart, funny and charming, and just the type of guy Vaidehi needs. I’m pretty sure that sparks will fly when these two meet! *Wink wink*
Phew, these characters now seem better suited, don’t they? Here’s hoping my Bollywood movie crossover dreams come true someday!
