For Baby-Soft Skin

You’ll Need:

  • Coconut oil
  • Almond oil
  • Olive oil
  • Beeswax
  • Shea butter
  • Raw honey
  • Essential oil of your choice

Method:

Step 1: To a microwave-safe bowl, add ¼ cups each of coconut oil, almond oil, and olive oil. Next, add 5 tablespoons of beeswax along with 1 tablespoon of shea butter.

Step 2: Microwave the ingredients for 30 secs to 2 mins at max, until the beeswax and oils have completely melted. Alternatively, you can also use a double boiler to melt your oils.

Step 3: Place this bowl of melted ingredients in the freezer for around 2 minutes. When you take it out, the mixture should be solid around the edges but still have liquid consistency in the middle. Then stir it for about 15 minutes until it looks like thick butter.

  • Lavender, orange, or lemongrass essential oil

Method:

Step 2: Next, add one cup of warm water into the blender, place the lid on without the centerpiece. Turn it on at low speed.

Step 3: Pour the mixture we created in the first step slowly into the blender as it mixes. Also, rip open 4 vitamin E capsules and squeeze its oil into the mix.

Step 4: Add 10 drops of essential oil to your hand cream while the blender is still on. Allow the blender to churn until the hand cream has cooled and thickened into an even paste.

Step 5: Turn off the blender and carefully spoon your hydrating avocado hand cream into small glass jars with tightly fitted lids. Allow the cream to cool completely before sealing. Store your DIY hand cream in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator.
