You’ll Need:

  • Shea butter
  • Sweet almond oil
  • Beeswax 
  • Cedarwood essential oil

Method:

Step 1: In a double boiler, add ¼ cup of shea butter, 1 tablespoon of beeswax, and ⅛ sweet almond oil. Stir the mixture as it melts.

Step 2: Once everything is melted, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes. Next, add 10 drops of cedarwood essential and pour the liquid into a small glass container. Allow it to harden completely, it might take several hours. And then it’s ready to use.

Use this cream in the a.m. and p.m. to nourish and heal dry, parched skin.

For Baby-Soft Skin

 

You’ll Need:

  • Coconut oil
  • Almond oil
  • Olive oil
  • Beeswax
  • Shea butter
  • Raw honey
  • Essential oil of your choice

Method:

Step 1: To a microwave-safe bowl, add ¼ cups each of coconut oil, almond oil, and olive oil. Next, add 5 tablespoons of beeswax along with 1 tablespoon of shea butter.

Step 2: Microwave the ingredients for 30 secs to 2 mins at max, until the beeswax and oils have completely melted. Alternatively, you can also use a double boiler to melt your oils. 

Step 3: Place this bowl of melted ingredients in the freezer for around 2 minutes. When you take it out, the mixture should be solid around the edges but still have liquid consistency in the middle. Then stir it for about 15 minutes until it looks like thick butter.

Step 4: Now, add 1½ tablespoons of raw honey along with 3-4 drops of essential oil. Stir well and add this balm to a clean glass container. Pop it into the refrigerator for 15 minutes to cool completely. Let the balm solidify before using.

You’ll need:

  • Beeswax
  • Almond oil
  • Avocado oil
  • Vitamin E capsules
  • Lavender, orange, or lemongrass essential oil

Method:

Step 1: In a double boiler, add 3 tablespoons of beeswax, ¾ cups of almond oil, and ¼ cups of avocado oil. Heat the mixture until the wax melts, just be careful not to overheat as it can destroy the healing properties of the oils.

Step 2: Next, add one cup of warm water into the blender, place the lid on without the centerpiece. Turn it on at low speed. 

Step 3: Pour the mixture we created in the first step slowly into the blender as it mixes. Also, rip open 4 vitamin E capsules and squeeze its oil into the mix.

Step 4: Add 10 drops of essential oil to your hand cream while the blender is still on. Allow the blender to churn until the hand cream has cooled and thickened into an even paste.

Step 5: Turn off the blender and carefully spoon your hydrating avocado hand cream into small glass jars with tightly fitted lids. Allow the cream to cool completely before sealing. Store your DIY hand cream in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator.

To Hydrate And Brighten The Skin Tone

You’ll need:

  • Organic Raw Shea Butter 
  • Coconut Oil
  • Sweet Almond Oil 
  • Tea- Tree Essential Oil
  • Bowl
  • Glass Jar

Method:

Step 1: Take a cup of shea butter into a big mixing bowl.

Step 2: Now gradually add ½ cup each of coconut oil and sweet almond oil to the bowl.

Step 3: Using a double boiler, bring the mixing bowl to medium heat and constantly stir until all the ingredients are melted properly.

Step 4: Remove the mixing bowl from the heat and let it cool a bit. Now, add 20-30 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil. Put the mixture in the refrigerator for an hour until it starts to solidify.

Step 5: Then, take the mixture out and whip it for 10 minutes using a hand blender until it becomes fluffy and develops a cream-like consistency.

Step 6: Please move the lotion mix to the refrigerator again for 10-15 minutes so that it’s set. After 15 minutes, please take out the lotion and store it in a glass jar secured with an air-tight lid.
