The trailer of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies released this morning and it took us (the true-blue ‘90s kids) down the nostalgia lane. From the set locations in the background to the iconic and relatable characters, the 3-minute trailer brought the stories from our childhood to our television screens.
The one thing we loved about the women characters from the comics was their oh-so-adorable looks that matched their personalities effortlessly. And, we are glad that the upcoming movie didn’t ruin that for us.

1. Veronica Lodge (Suhana Khan)
This famous, rich high school goer has a sarcastic attitude and infinite confidence – and this can be seen in her looks. From her black front-fringed hair to her elegant clothing and stunning accessories and makeup, we love how the makers retained Veronica’s style.
2. Betty Cooper (Khushi Kapoor)
While the original comic character had striking blonde hair, the makers made a change in this strong-minded character’s hair in the movie. That makes sense since the movie is set India. We cannot deny the playfulness and cuteness in her clothing and it really looks like the character from the comic books has come to life.
3. Ethel Muggs (Aditi Dot)
This talented and ambitious character and her laidback clothing were something to die for. Be it her cute floral vests or her short blow-dried hair, the resemblance between both characters, from the books and movies, is unbelievable and we love every bit of it.
These women characters are serving flawless looks in the trailer and we can’t wait to see them in the movie as they take us on a nostalgic roller-coaster ride!
