A lot has been said about Tejasswi Prakash’s Bigg Boss 15 victory in the past couple of days. Celebs like Gauahar Khan, Munmun Dutta, and Shefali Jariwala have been making comments on how Pratik Sehajpal deserved to win this season. Some netizens are also talking about how Bigg Boss 15 was rigged and that Tejasswi won this season only ‘coz she’d soon be appearing in Colors TV’s hit show, Naagin.
In an interview with an online entertainment platform, the actress has now opened up about the backlash. She has talked about how it is not too different from her Bigg Boss 15 journey where everyone tried to throw her off and kept praying that she loses the trophy.
“When I saw the video of my journey on the show, I realised that there were a lot of times when things were against me. Strategies and plans were being made against me to throw me off from a position. Till the end and even when I was on stage, nobody in the studio wanted me to win. Till the last moment and till the time, I got the trophy in my hand, everyone was hoping that I lose. However, Ganpati bappa and my followers had other plans. I will always believe that jiske saath koi nahi hota uske saath khuda hota hai,” says Tejasswi.
Well, this is something that the actress has expressed during the show as well and looks like her guardian angel is actually looking out for her. Tejasswi literally got the offer to play the lead role in Naagin 6 while she was still in the Bigg Boss 15 house and it is safe to say, that luck is in her favour right now. However, that’s not how most of the Tejasswi’s co-contestants and viewers see it as they suspect some foul play here.
In the interview, the actress has also quashed these allegations and the rumours that she has been given the trophy just ‘coz she would now be a part of Naagin. “No offence to anyone but I think I was offered Naagin because I was doing a good job on BB. I would have been offered Naagin even if I hadn’t won BB. Meri jeet meri jeet hai, mujhe naagin mila hai isliye mujhe jitaaya nahi hai. They can put as much blame as they like on the channel that made them what they are, par aap pehle hi dinn se itna kyu darte the mujhse?” she asks.
Rest assured, looks like Tejasswi can be the least bothered with everyone throwing stones at her right now and is all set to live her best life now that she is out of the house. “Why should I expect anyone to appreciate my victory? My family and I should be happy that I won and my fans should be happy that their hard work paid off. Why should my haters be happy that I won? My haters will obviously be sad about my victory. They have the right to be sad. Not everyone is going to love me. I am not an ice cream…I am human,” she comments and makes perfect sense.
