If rollerball perfumes are your must-haves when you’re travelling or just on the go, you’re missing out on some serious stuff. Want to give your skin some loving and smell good? Enter solid fragrances aka skin-loving perfumes that will leave you smelling like a dream. But why solid perfumes? One, you can carry them anywhere without worrying about the bottle breaking or them spilling and two, these tend to be more concentrated than sprays because they don’t have any alcohol in them.

Earth Rhythm Bonefire Zest Solid Perfume
Encased in a sliding chic tin box, this variety is great if you’re a fan of cinnamon, cedarwood and amber. It also has shea butter that boosts collagen and is a natural SPF as well as pomegranate oil that is full of antioxidants that protect skin from free radical damage.
First Water Solutions Solid Perfume Musk Mint
This cruelty-free, vegan, plant-based perfume has a sharp, fresh minty-musky scent that not only lasts all day but keeps you feeling energized. Apply it to the sides of your neck, behind your ears and wrist pulse points!
TONYMOLY Pocket Bunny Perfume Bar 02 Juicy Bunny
If you’re a fan of sweet citrusy scents, this lip balm-esque perfume will be right up your alley. The bergamot and lemon combined with freesia and sandalwood will leave you feeling refreshed. Even though the scent doesn’t last too long (two to three hours, in our opinion), this K-beauty wins a few extra points for its adorable packaging.
Forest Essentials Solid Perfume Parijat
Trust us when we say this: Perfumes don’t get more decadent than this sweet yet sensuous scent. If you’re a fan of white floral fragrances, you have to try this one! Thanks to the mango and mahua butter, this perfume can be used by the most sensitive of skin types since these two moisturising powerhouses are known to heal and soothe skin.
Want some tips on how to layer your solid perfume so it lasts all day? Try this:
- If you don’t have a matching scented lotion, opt for an unscented body lotion or oil. Moisturised or oily skin holds fragrance for much longer than dry skin does! If you have a body butter that complements the scent you’re wearing, then apply that first and then go in with perfume.
- A spot that retains the scent of fragrances well? The tip of your ears! Yes, this part of your body is oilier than well…the back of your ears so don’t skip it!
- Apply perfume as soon as you’ve stepped out of the shower and applied moisturiser (or oil). The moisture from your bath will lock in the scent.
- Never rub your wrists after applying perfume. This breaks down the scent faster than it normally would!
