Introducing the Swiss Beauty Cheek It Up Blush, a pigment stick in the cutest pink packaging ever. This marvel promises many things – but does it follow through? Here’s the tea.
What Is It?
The Swiss Beauty Cheek It Up Blush stands out with its creamy formula, effortlessly blending into your skin and giving it that lumi-matte finish. Designed to cater to all skin tones, this blush stick offers a vibrant colour payoff that lasts all day. Its lightweight, non-sticky formulation is enriched with jojoba oil, ensuring not just a splash of colour but also a nourishing treat for your skin.
Available in 6 stunning shades, from delicate pinks to warm corals and rich rosy reds, there’s a hue to match every mood and occasion. Plus, its commitment to being paraben-free, vegan, and suitable for all skin types makes it a conscientious choice for beauty lovers.
Our Thoughts
Okay, first thoughts? This is one of the cutest blushes I have ever seen. It’s compact, cute, and very pink – three of my favourite things in makeup. The colour is gorgeous and with a little expertise, you can use it for a quick face of makeup. It gives you a very subtle pink glow that looks super natural.
Now while the colour payoff is remarkably intense, the formula is not thick enough to be creamy. Instead, you get an ashy, patchy sort of texture that takes a while to blend, if you’re using a brush (as opposed to your hands or a blender). Additionally, the pigment does not last long on the face, and consistent reapplication is required.
So, when it comes to portability and packaging, this is a replica of the Milk sticks but when it comes to formula – it disappears too quickly.
How To Use It?
Just twist, apply, and blend. Glide the blush stick directly onto your cheeks and blend out with your fingertips, a brush, or a sponge for a seamless finish. Focus on the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards towards your temples for a lifted appearance.
What It Looks Like
In Conclusion
It's the worst blush I've tried, but there's no point in going for a pigment stick if reapplication is required so many times and the colour fades away quickly.
