Last night, businessman Lalit Kumar Modi sent the internet in a state of complete meltdown after he revealed that he is dating Sushmita Sen. NGL, this announcement hit us all like a bag of bricks but we are hella happy for the Main Hoon Naa actress’ new journey. Unfortunately, Sushmita became the target of mean-spirited trolls on the ‘Gram for no reason and finally, she broke her silence on the subject.
Sushmita took to the ‘Gram to share a snap of her daughters Alisah Sen and Renee Sen and penned a personal note. The Aarya star wrote,”I am in a happy place!!! First of all, kudos to Sushmita for putting the social media trolls in their place by reminding everyone that it is her life and her choice. No woman owes anyone any explanation ever about her personal life. We are incredibly delighted to see Sush in a happy space and she truly deserves it.
Even when people tried to pull her down for her personal choice, Sushmita acted like a total badass and proved that she doesn’t give two hoots about people’s opinions. The actress is living her life on her own terms and we are here for it!

The pictures instantly sparked engagement rumours and later Lalit had to issue a clarification. The IPL founder tweeted, “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too it will happen one day”
