Suhana Khan is one of those B-Town celebs who has created a buzz even before her debut on the big screen. To say that we have high hopes for her would be an understatement. When we talk about her future in the industry, we are thinking of iconic roles, smashing hits and grand premieres.
Speaking of which, while we don’t know about her upcoming blockbuster movies yet, we certainly know that she’s well-rehearsed in walking down the red carpet. As it turns out, we got our hands on an almost decade-old pic of Suhana with her dad and it is adorbs!
The snap takes us back to 2011 when SRK, his wife Gauri Khan, and their little one were attending the London premiere of Ra.One. OMG just look at Su holding her daddy’s hand tightly! She looks hella cute and defs baffled with all that crowd and paps. Her white ruffled frock, checkered coat and oversized clutch are definitely a reminder that the star kid has come a long way over the years. I mean, look at the confident diva today impressing us all with her sartorial style. Who could have guessed?
A few months ago, Suhana shared a heartfelt note where she opened up about feeling inferior while growing up and getting bullied for her looks. She wrote, “I’ve been told I’m ugly because of my skin tone, by full grown men and women, since I was 12 years old. Other than the fact that these are actual adults, what’s sad is that we are all Indian, which automatically makes us brown – yes we come in different shades but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from the melanin, you just can’t. Hating on your own people just means that you are painfully insecure.”
We dread to think that the little girl on that red carpet was dealing with so much back then. Well, haters, that’s your cue to learn that you gotta get over your obsession with looks and let people be.
Coming back to Suhana, we think that she should get a grand premiere of her own movie very soon ‘coz we can’t wait to see her nail the red carpet look again.
