Suhana Khan Gave Us A Peek Into Her New York Apartment & Now We Want A Full Tour!

Suhana Khan’s wardrobe picks sure are envy-worthy. Being a star kid, stellar style is probably ingrained in her DNA. However, she’s a true millennial like us. Well, it turns out Suhana Khan loves a good mirror #OOTD selfie just like the rest of us. Recently, Suhana sheared her OOTD on Insta wearing baggy jeans and a muted green crop top, showing off her sculpted abs and impeccable fashion sense. She accessorised her look with a mini shoulder bag, gold bracelets and chunky sneakers, redefining casual chic.

But for once, it wasn’t her killer outfit that caught her fans’ attention. This time, the star kid is making waves because she gave us a teensy-weensy sneak peek into her apartment bedroom in New York City. And honestly, now we’re dying to see her entire house!

In the picture, besides Suhana’s outfit, we can see a white bedside table with a lamp, a candle and (cue adorable sounds) a picture of her baby brother AbRam! She seems to really love the colour white, because her walls, computer chair, bed frame and sheets are in the same hue. Her bed seems to have an elaborate leather headboard with studs, and her sheets are crisp and clean. The wooden flooring in light brown accentuates the room. We’re not sure if Suhana did up her space herself, but if she did, she has definitely inherited her mother Gauri’s interior design skills!

The star kid is currently studying at New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. Like her superstar father, she wants to be an actor one day, and has starred in a number of plays, including an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in London.

Last year, Suhana was in the limelight after she posted a passionate note about facing colourism in India. She said that she has been at the receiving end of hate comments and trolling because of her dark complexion, and is often called names like ‘kaali’. Sharing some screenshots of such comments, she called for an end to such discrimination. “I’m sorry if social media, Indian matchmaking or even your own families have convinced you, that if you’re not 5”7 and fair you’re not beautiful. I hope it helps to know that I’m 5”3 and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too. #endcolourism,” she wrote in her post.
