After breaking the internet with her beautiful wedding pictures earlier this week, Sugandha Mishra has given us yet another look from her shaadi festivities to obsess over. The comedian recently took to Instagram to share pictures of herself and husband Sanket Bosale dressed in the traditional Maharashtrian finery. Well, we are absolutely in love with Sugandha’s Maharashtrian dulhan avatar and here is everything that we are loving about the vibrant look:
Maharashtrian To The T! Sugandha Mishra’s Glorious Nauvari
In the latest pictures from her wedding, Sugandha can be seen perfectly adopting the Marathi mulgi-mode in her opulent silk saree. The comedian can be seen in a red and royal blue handwoven Paithani which has been beautifully draped. The special drape is referred to as ‘Nauvari’ and is generally worn by newlywed brides in Maharashtra.
Going all traditional, Sugandha has completed her look with a fresh gajra, gold jhumkis, and a Brahmi nath. However, she hasn’t parted away from her Punjabi choora and we love how she has incorporated both the cultures in perfect harmony in one single look.
Also, can we please take a moment and admire her glossy skin makeup look? The makeup has been nicely accentuated with kohl-rimmed eyes and cherry lipstick. We just loveee the look and think every new bride should try it at least once. Here is how you can recreate it:
