Sophie Turner’s role ended in Game of Thrones after she was crowned the Queen of North. While that was reel life, we’re fairly certain that she is the queen of all kinds of household directions in real life too. This Game of Thrones star recently added a piece of furniture that she took from the sets of the TV show. And she has placed it in the living room of her swanky Los Angeles house.
The actress who is now a mother of a beautiful baby girl Willa showed off this sentimental souvenir. A throne from the TV series that Sansa Stark, her character sat in at the end of this HBO series. She took to her Instagram story and shared a picture of the throne.
In a recent interview, Sophie made it very clear that she has no plans of returning back to the show. Bidding adieu to her role she said “Sansa, Thank you for teaching me resilience, bravery and what true strength really is. Thank you for teaching me to be kind and patient and to lead with love. I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on.. at 23 I leave you behind, but I will never leave behind what you’ve taught me.”
She also wrote that the show gave her the best life and drama lessons she could have ever asked for, “Without you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Thank you for giving me this chance all those years ago. And finally to the fans. Thank you for falling in love with these characters and supporting this show right through till the end. I’ll miss this more than anything,” she further wrote.
Sophie has another souvenir that she got from the show. By the time she finished shooting for GoT, she added a tattoo inspired by the show. A picture of a dire-wolf and Ned Stark’s maxim, The Pack Survives is what she got on her arm right after wrapping up the shoot. While some fans complained of this being a big spoiler, Sophie confirmed on the Late Night Show with James Corden that it’s simply a motto that she likes to live by. Apart from this, Sophie has about three more tattoos that are related to her role in GoT.
Sophie and Joe got married in Las Vegas on May 1st last year. They were recently blessed with a baby girl.
