Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and hubby Anand Ahuja are one of the most adorable couples in B-town. Not only do they look good together but also set #CoupleGoals for us in many ways. Whoever thought long-distance relationships are tough, needs to take cues from this lovely couple on how to make it work because they’re pulling it off with such grace.
While Anand keeps busy with his fashion label Bhaane and stays in London, Sonam’s work commitments keep her in Mumbai. So, how do they keep the spark alive? By frequently going on short vacations and video calling each other on Skype. As for the rest, their Insta PDA is a constant reminder of how much they miss each other in this arrangement.
Recently, Sonam took to her Instagram stories to share a couple of pictures with her significant other. She wrote, “I miss you so much, nothing is worth being away from you.“
Isn’t that adorable? We feel you, Sonam. Long-distance is hard.
Talking about the secret to a successful long-distance marriage, Anand said in a magazine interview earlier, “When it comes to marriage, small things matter a lot. We eat meals together, even if we are in different time zones, on Skype. We also actively make sure that we don’t go over two weeks without seeing each other.”
The two have been very supportive of each other’s work. Sonam once said in an interview with a leading daily, “Anand is so encouraging when it comes to my work that he didn’t blink when I told him I was flying to Cannes two days after the wedding or that I was getting into promotions straightaway. There was no argument, just acceptance – you gotta do, what you gotta do.”
Sonam also has been no less of a cheerleader to her hubby. She supports Anand by promoting his brands–Bhaane as well as his sneaker store VegNonVeg on her Instagram. In fact, in an interview, Anand spoke about how he was pretty clear about his brand after he met Sonam, “I got clarity on the label after I met Sonam. She is decisive and I am the exact opposite. She intuitively knows what’s good for me. She has brought a lot of clarity to my life. This store reflects a personality thanks to her.”
On the work front, Sonam is gearing up for her upcoming flick The Zoya Factor, which is about a young and successful advertising executive who changes the fate and luck of the Indian cricket team. The film is slated to release on September 20, 2019.
