Sonam Kapoor just gave us the ideal summer look with just the right romantic vibe. Her Instagram feed is a godsend for every beauty and fashion lover. She is always upping her game with every look, and I for one, am absolutely thankful to her for doing so. We all know summers are icky and sticky and having long hair is an absolute pain. Her glowy skin, painted lips and the romantic ponytail is perfect for this season.
Sonam recently stepped out for the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding (the trailer is so hilarious BTW), is this gorgeous romantic puffy sleeved dress. To go with the vibe of the dress, she went with a glowy and glossy makeup look along with a super pretty ponytail. Let’s break it down, shall we?

She personified summer for us. If summer was a makeup look it would be what Sonam had on. She went for a subtle monochrome vibe with using lighter and darker shades of pink on her lids, cheeks and lips.What we absolutely love though is the use of highlighter and gloss, the gloss of course on her lips is such a relief. I am truly over matte lips, honestly. And the highlighter on her shoulder and collar bones, such a fantastic touch!

While sleek hairdos are definitely sultry, there is just something sweet about a nice romantic ponytail. It looks effortless yet put together. The hairstyle works well on the second and third day as well because it is sleek at the crown and then goes into a puffy ponytail.
To recreate this ponytail just spray your hair with texturising spray and scrunch. Leave it alone for a bit and then using a large barrel curling iron and curl the ends. Then brush through them for added volume. Gather all the hair about 5-6 inches from your nape and secure with a hair tie. To make it look more put together, just take a tiny section of hair from the base of the ponytail and wrap it around the scrunchie.
