Looks like Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor are trying to pull off a Virushka by keeping their wedding location a secret. Their wedding rumours started with a royal affair in Udaipur and last we heard, the couple was all set to tie the knot in a dream ceremony in Geneva. And now, it’s being reported that the couple will exchange vows in Mumbai between the 8th and 11th of May!
Yes, you heard that right! Sonam and Anand might actually be getting married in amchi Mumbai and we can’t even begin to imagine the star-studded affair that it’ll be. While earlier reports suggested that the couple wants an intimate destination wedding, a Mumbai wedding will be larger-than-life! Our sources also suggest that Anil Kapoor has been personally calling all the guests to invite them and the celebrations will be spread over two days with a mehendi ceremony, a sangeet night and a Hindu wedding. If our guess is right, this could be followed by a Delhi reception for Anand’s family and friends.
Besides the wedding venue, it’s Sonam’s bridal look that has got people excited. While earlier it was reported that Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla will be designing Sonam’s bridal outfit, a new report suggests that Sonam will wear an Anamika Khanna creation on her big day.
Well, Udaipur, Geneva or Mumbai… We know that when Sonam Kapoor ties the knot, it’ll be an affair to remember, irrespective of the city or country. For now, we just gotta wait and watch!
