Everyone’s Talking About Siren Eyes! Here’s How To Get This Trending Eye Makeup Look

This makeup trend is simply iconic! Siren eyes are trending and everyone who’s anyone is rocking it. Truth be told, it’s giving us major nostalgia. Because like how winged eyeliner blew up in the last decade, we believe that this eyeliner trend has got what it takes to turn into the next go-to makeup staple. After all, it does make the classic winged eyeliner look even more dramatic and we’re not complaining. I mean, just look at it! The trend is said to make your eyes look sleek, sculpted, and snatched. And we need no more convincing to get on board with it. You’ve probably already seen the reels or the models and celebs who have adopted the trend. We’re here with a helpful decode to ace the siren eye like a queen.

What Is Siren Eye Makeup?

Meant to make your gaze striking like a siren, this eye makeup trend is high on drama. It basically is a bolder version of the classic winged liner except with sharper wings at both the inner and outer corners. Unlike classic wings where you draw all along the lash lines, siren eyes require you to leave the centre of your lash lines bare and only accentuate the inner and outer corners with pointed wings. The lids are typically dressed with either brown eyeshadow or amped up with a dash of shimmer. Celebs like Bella Hadid, Zendaya, and Alexa Demie swear by this trend and are often spotted rocking it whenever they get the chance. The eyeliner is the defining feature of this trend but the eyeshadow used on your lids is up for personalisation.

Siren Eyes Vs The Classic Wing

As you can see, siren eyes help make your eyes look more elongated and sultry. As opposed to doe eyes that the classic winged eyeliner provides, it gives you a snatched look that helps sculpt your eye shape and lend you a more dramatic and feline quality.

3 Different Ways To Ace Siren Eyes

The Goof-Proof Way

This is a total beginner-friendly siren eye tutorial and it’s especially great for those of us who struggle with applying eyeliner. Take a brown eyeshadow on an angled brush and apply it in wing form on the outer and inner corners of your eyes. Next, take a black eyeshadow on the angled brush and apply it at the same points to make a more pronounced yet subtle winged effect. Use kohl to define the water lines and finish with mascara.

The Edgy Siren

Want to go all-out glamm? This glitzy siren eye look is it. Use an eyeliner pencil to draw wings on the outer corners. Create another line to connect the wings to the outer half of the crease. You can get a little messy with this as it can easily be cleaned up later. Once the outer corner wings are done, use the same pencil to draw a line at the inner corner of the upper lash lines and another line on the outer half of the lower lash lines. Now, use a pencil brush to blend the liner. Layer the eyeliner with a black eyeshadow and then use a wet wipe or cue tip to clean up your lids so that the look is clean and sharp. Make sure to leave the centre of your upper lash lines bare. Take a silver shimmer eyeshadow and apply it at the inner corners and on the centre of your upper lash lines. Finish it with mascara.

The Contoured Wonder

This is an easy and impactful way to ace siren eyes and it requires contour products. Sculpt your eye shape by applying a dark cream contour on the outer corners and in your crease. Blend well and then apply a cream concealer to your lids. Dab on a silver shimmer eyeshadow on the centre of your lids. Draw wings on the outer corners and inner corners of your eyes. Get those falsies on and apply mascara. Easy, breezy, but so beautiful!

So edgy right? We are absolutely in love with these siren eyes.
