The Stree actress’ goddess-like avatar has inspired in us a new-found appreciation for her beauty. It’s like we’re Varun Dhawan from the MV. That’s why we’re decoding her kajal-heavy, sultry-eyed aesthetic step-by-step. Ahead — the reveal.
Shraddha Kapoor’s Made A Comeback, & How
Step One: All About That (Glazed) Base
Capture Kapoor’s dewy-dumpling, glazed-donut base by prepping your skin with a glow-inducing serum as well as a ultra-hydrating moisturiser. You can mix a couple of drops of either formula with your foundation for your base to look air-light and second-skin-like. Do opt for a skincare-infused foundation anyway, and apply a liquid-based concealer just on the inner-corners of the under-eye. Use a fine-tipped brush to swipe it outward toward the rest of the under-eye until it has blended into your skin seamlessly. Go over patches and spots with the product before moving on.
Step Two: Play The Gaze Right
Paint your lids a sheer, glitter-studded gold, and line your waterline and under-eye with kohl to play into the sultriness of the aesthetic. Line your upper-lids with the same, and subtly flick it outward. Smudge it with your fingers, and you’re done. Prep your brows with a gel. This will tame them instantly. Brush them outward with a spoolie, and fill them in with hair-like strokes with a brown or jet-black pencil depending on the colour of the hairs. Brush them once again, and you’re done. Enhance your lashes with mascara to tie it all together.
Step Three: Light It Up
Shraddha’s glowing, and it’s not just the base talking. Dustings of highlighter as well as flushes of rose come into bloom all over the face. Go over all the high-points with highlighter, and sweep a cream-based blusher over the nose and the apples. Choose a colour that’s a little red than pink.
Step Four: Shakira Meant ‘Lips Don’t Lie’
Prime your lips with a lip-serum or lip-balm to eliminate cracks and creases before filling your lips in with colour. Not only will this play into the glossiness, it will hydrate and repair too. Shraddha has opted for a glossy nude-ish pink. You can place some highlighter on the Cupid’s Bow to enhance the fullness of your pout along with playing into the luminosity of the look.
That’s it!
