You must have seen films and documentaries about the India-Pakistan Partition and you would have an idea that it must have been very painful. Innumerable innocent people died during that time and we can’t even imagine the amount of pain it would have caused. This short film about the Partition called Ab Rab Havale Indian Story Tellers is just so hauntingly beautiful. It’s set in the year 1947, during the time of India-Pakistan separation.
The night India and Pakistan became two different countries, many families got separated too. This film tells the heartbreaking story of a Punjabi family who is forced to leave behind their loved ones on one side of the border. The short film features Farida Jalal, Anup Soni and Shilpa Saklani. It has a very gripping storyline and it just makes us so emotional that we want to cry after watching the movie. The background music is in the voices of Sonu Nigam and Mahalaxmi Iyer, and they make the scenes more overwhelming. This heartbreaking movie is a must watch and we’re sure it’ll leave you teary eyed.
