Last night was a good, good night! Bigg Boss 15 came to an end yesterday and gave us one of the most interesting Grand Finales ever. There was drama, suspense, romance and even a bit of action, and we loved every bit of it. Tejasswi Prakash took the winner’s trophy home and while we were happy for her, a little sad for the runner-up, Pratik Sehajpal.
Interestingly, the decision has disappointed several celebrities including Gauahar Khan and Kamya Punjabi, and the reason is pretty obvious. Teja’s recent actions and statements on the show have not gone well with the viewers and they are not okay with her high and mighty attitude. We’re talking about her latest antic where she made some problematic remarks on Shamita Shetty, called her an ‘aunty’ and accused her of hitting on her boyfriend, Karan Kundrra. When questioned, she outright refused to apologise and made excuses to cover up her mistake. Her derogatory comments have infuriated Shilpa Shetty as well and during a recent media interaction, she called out Tejasswi for age-shaming her sister.
When paps asked what was her reaction when the Swaragini actress called Shamita ‘aunty’, Shilpa said that she found it highly offensive. She said, “Jab ek aurat dusri aurat ko niche dikhane ki koshish karti hai, chaahe wo meri behen ho ya koi aur ho, then that’s a sign of weakness, and main iss cheez ko kabhi support nahi karti (When a woman tries to pull another woman down, regardless of whether or not she’s my sister, then that’s a sign of weakness and I do not support it).”
Shilpa also added that at the end of the day, it all comes down to one’s own ‘manners.’ The actress said that she and her sister were raised quite strictly and hence they would never make such a comment on anyone.
Tejasswi’s offensive comments on Shamita were disgraceful and the saddest part is that the BB 15 winner was just not ready to accept her fault. In fact, in the last Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Karan supported his girlfriend and said that she made those remarks as a ‘joke.’
Well, we don’t buy it and it’s a shame that he’s defending his partner rather than making her see the problem. We wish Tejasswi and Karan to watch the episode and realise their mistake.
