Perhaps that’s the reason why many of our favourite Bollywood stars often take social media breaks every now and then to detox! Recently, Shilpa Shetty decided to bid adieu to her Insta fam for a bit and her post has left us intriguied.
Taking to the ‘Gram, Shilpa shared a post and wrote, “Soooo bored of the monotony, everything looking the same… going off social media till I find a new avatar (sic).”
Now we wonder if Shilpa is hinting at a brand new look for one of her projects or if she is just taking time to have fun IRL. NGL, we are going to miss the actress’ hilarious Insta posts ‘coz no one does social media challenges better than Shilpa.
When Shilpa Made Her Instagram Debut
Over the last couple of years, Shilpa has turned into one of the most popular faces on Instagram and we can’t get enough of her fun posts. However, not many people know, that the actress’ journey on the ‘Gram had a hilarious beginning!
In an interview, Shilpa revealed, “It was really for the heck of it. It was my 13-year-old niece who told me, ‘Shilpa mami you are not on Instagram or any other social media platform, so you should get on it.’ She was the one who opened my account and it is still her password. On that day there were some 400-500 people who started following me and my niece told me that you are not really that famous. She really burst my bubble! Then after that, I decided that if I am on this platform then what should I do with it. That’s when I started posting about my workout routine and diet.”
Shilpa’s Instagram is a goldmine for anyone who wishes to lead a healthy lifestyle and get motivated. We don’t know when will actress plans to return to the platform, but till then we can continue obsessing over her posts, right?
