After Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise in September last year, Shehnaaz Gill had completely incubated herself for almost two months and was staying away from the limelight. Fortunately, she’s in a much better space today and has started making social appearances. She’s even active on social media and gives us a sneak-peek of her life from time to time. In fact, she even shared a YouTube video recently where she spoke about her life learnings and fondly remembered Sidharth.
The Honsla Rakh actress shared a video on her YouTube channel, Reset & Restart, in which she can be seen conversing with the late actor’s guru maa, Sister BK Shivani. Shehnaaz revealed that was keen on talking to his guru maa and had even conveyed her wish to Sidharth, in the past. She said, “I would often tell Sidharth that I want to talk to Sister Shivani. I really like her. He always said ‘Yes, definitely, it’ll happen, you chill’ and then, it happened. I always had the intention and that probably reached you in some way. So then we connected.”
The two further spoke about life lessons and Shehnaaz opened up about learning so much from Sidharth. “I often think how that soul (Sidharth) gave me so much knowledge. I could not analyse people before. I was very trusting and I was really innocent at that time but that soul taught me a lot in life. God made me meet that soul and kept us together as friends so that he could teach me something in life.” She added that she learnt a lot from him in the two years they were together and is so much better at making life decisions today.
Opening up on becoming strong in life, Shehnaaz said, “My path was going to go towards God and that is probably why this soul came to my life. He made me meet people like you. I could strongly handle everything. I am so strong now.” She even advised that one should cherish the memories of those who have passed away and the experiences they have gained from them. Shehnaaz also said something about Sidharth that is making us feel very emotional. She said, “Humari journey abhi hai, unki journey complete ho chuki hai. Unka account mere saath abhi ke liye band ho gaya hai…phir may be continue hoga.” Such beautiful words.
After watching the video, netizens have been applauding the actress for being so strong and resilient. A few of her fans even expressed their relief after knowing that she is doing better now. Well, that’s all we wanted for her, and we’re glad she’s doing good. Here’s hoping she keeps smiling always.
