We were in a state of shock when we heard about the sudden demise of Sidharth Shukla. It took all of us a long time to process the loss and even today, it feels unreal. While we have somehow made peace with the reality, we’re constantly concerned about his family and Shehnaaz Gill. We cannot imagine the pain they must be dealing with at the moment and can only hope that they heal soon.
A week ago, Abhinav Shukla revealed to the paps that Shehnaaz Gill was coping with the loss and said, “I pray and wish all the strength to Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s family. I and Rubina met her mother and she is coping well. I pray that god assuages their anguish.”
Another source has also revealed during a media interaction recently that Sidharth’s mom, Rita Shukla is helping Shehnaaz move on in life. They said, “She (Rita ji) has been strong herself and has been helping Shehnaaz to mourn and move on. She also feels that the best way for Shehnaaz to come out of this loss will be to immerse herself in work and therefore she has been counselling her to get back to work soon, start meeting friends and lead a normal life.” Thankfully, it seems that the actress might take up her advice and resume the shooting for her movie, Honsla Rakh.
The makers of the movie shared with a leading daily that they were earlier planning to shoot a song sequence on September 15. But, they had to postpone it after taking Shehnaaz’s health into account. Diljit Thind, the producer of the film, recently said in an interview that his team might resume the shooting soon and he would want the actress to be a part of it.
He said, “We are waiting for her to recover and heal from the grave loss. We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons. We will finalise a new date soon and would want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hoping that she will contact us in a few days.”
Honsla Rakh is all set to release on October 15 and the actress will be seen opposite Diljit Dosanjh in the movie. We are hoping that Shehnaaz heals soon and makes a solid comeback!
