It seems that someone has put an evil eye on our fave Bigg Boss couple and we do not know how to calm ourselves down. Earlier this week, BB OTT winner, Divya Agarwal shocked us all by announcing her split from her boyfriend, Varun Sood. As if that wasn’t heartbreaking enough, we got another update recently that shocked us all. The grapevine was buzzing that Divya’s archnemesis and Bigg Boss 15 contestant, actress Shamita Shetty had apparently called it quits with her boyfriend Raqesh Bapat. Several social media handles and leading dailies reported that the couple called off their relationship as they were having too many arguments.
For the unversed, Shamita and Raqesh’s love story began in the BB OTT house. They both worked out their differences gradually and played together for a while in BB 15 as well. Obviously, the rumours caused major confusion among the #ShaRa fans as they did not know what to believe. Well, to finally put rest to all the chaos, we have a happy update for everyone—Shamita and Raqesh are still together and very much in love. *Yay!*
The actors took to their Instagram stories and shared a note clarifying that all rumours about breakup are baseless. They requested their fans to not pay attention to these claims and wrote, “We request you’ll to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. There’s no truth in this. Love and light to everyone.”
Several netizens were quick to associate Divya and Varun’s breakup to that of Shamita-Raqesh’s rumoured split. That’s not only problematic but highly insensitive as well. We hope that netizens stop adding more fuel to the baseless fire and give these couples the privacy that they require at this time.
