When it comes to controversies, no one can ever beat King Khan and the web of squabbles that surrounds him. In some cases, he was an innocent bystander, but some really caught up with him and barrelled him down. It seems like SRK cannot escape controversies and ends up attracting more even the fire from the last one is put out. Yep, he takes the crown as one of the most controversial actors in B-town.
If you’re a true SRK fan, you will probably know most of these, but we bet some will surprise you as well. Read on to see what our King is up to in real life.
1. When he was banned from Wankhede Stadium

Think stars can’t get banned from public spaces? Not true. SRK got a five-year ban on misbehaving with the stadium officials during an IPL match in 2012. He allegedly hurled abuses at some of the officials when they stopped him from entering with his children and their friends. The ban was lifted in 2015 and the cops concluded that he was not drunk.
2. When it was said that SRK will leave the country if Modi becomes the PM
Now, this lie spread like wildfire and sadly, had nothing to do with SRK. It was Kamal R Khan who had made this statement and people mistook KRK for SRK and it was indeed sad as major newspapers wrote about as well. Shah Rukh was not happy and wrote this bitter tweet to make things clear.

3. When he was detained at American airports
The first time, he was detained at the Newark Airport, New York for almost two hours and couldn’t get out until Congress MP Rajiv Shukla spoke to the authorities. The other time, again in New York, was when he had gone to Yale University as a guest speaker with Nita Ambani. He had a good laugh at it during his speech when he said, “Whenever I start feeling too arrogant, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom.”

4. When SRK slapped Farah Khan’s husband

Shocked right? Well, even though Farah and Shah Rukh are BFFs, it does not necessarily mean that he would be best friends with the husband, too. He apparently got into a heated argument with Shirish Kunder and ended up slapping him at Sanjay Dutt’s party.
5. His alleged affair with Priyanka Chopra

This was probably SRK’s first link-up of his career. The two had allegedly been going around during the shoot for Don, though none of them has paid any attention to the rumour. In fact, PC got really worked up when a reporter asked her to comment on it.
6. When he had a fight with Sallu Bhai

This controversy is probably the most famous one because, of course, it involves Salman Khan. It did come as a shock as these two were really good buddies before. It actually started in a party where Shah Rukh said something about Salman’s ex, Aishwarya Rai which Sallu did not like. Then the two were in a cold-war zone for many years though that might be slowly fading away as the two were seen hugging out at many recent events. Salman was also seen in Zero‘s trailer, shaking a leg with King Khan, so maybe all is well now.
Well, we all know one thing that SRK cannot be messed with, either at parties or when it comes to false accusations. He is truly the ‘King Khan‘ in B-town.
