Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are one of the most adorable couples in B-Town. Not only do they seem like a great match, but it’s also evident that they are each other’s best friend. From photoshoots to public appearances, the two complement each other really well. The loved-up duo tied the knot in a private ceremony in Gurgaon on July 7, 2015. Four years into the marriage, they have two kids, Misha and Zain.
Recently, in a candid conversation with a leading magazine, Shahid revealed how he felt during his first meeting with Mira. The Udta Punjab actor said, “The only thought going through my mind was, ‘Here we are, sitting in this room on these two big sofas with nobody else around. Are we even going to last 15 minutes?'”
Talking about how Mira reacted to his role of an addict in Udta Punjab, which is what he was shooting for when they first met, Shahid told the magazine, “We sat together on a sofa and somewhere around the interval she had moved five feet away to the other edge. She looked at me and said, ‘You’re not this guy, right? Is this guy anywhere inside you? Tell me now while I can still walk away!'”
In an interaction with a leading daily, Shahid had revealed Mira’s only condition for marrying him. The Kabir Singh actor had said, “The only condition she laid down for me was that when we get married, I will not have coloured hair. She made me promise that when we marry I would sport my normal hair colour. She warned me not to wear my hair red on our marriage day. When I married her a month later, I made sure I behaved myself and looked like a decent groom. I must confess that I was tempted to marry with red hair. I thought that my kids would see my wedding album and say – ‘Our dad was cool. He was so into his work.’ But, now I’m domesticated and I listen to everything Mira says.”
