Television stars Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor have been everyone’s favourites ever since they tied the knot in November 2020. And after they announced their pregnancy on Insta this June, the two were showered with love by fans all over social media.
We’ve been hooked to the ‘gram for any info on the little one’s arrival and were elated when the couple welcomed their baby girl on earlier this month. We’ve been waiting for an update on the baby ever since and it looks like we finally have it!
Shaheer and Ruchikaa finally revealed the name of their daughter yesterday and it’s every bit beautiful. The actor took to the gram to share a beautiful picture from Ruchikaa’s baby shower. In the pic, the two can be seen chilling in the patio and posing for the camera. We gotta say that they look adorable together.
Shaheer shared the baby’s name with a heartfelt caption. He wrote, “Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude… need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers. #Ananya.” His wife reposted the pic and added, “And then there were three #Ananya.” If you’re wondering about the meaning of the name Ananya, it’s an Arabic word and it means care, protection and diligence. A few days after the birth of Ananya, Shaheer had opened up about becoming a father. He said, “I can’t even express it in words honestly. It is something else. I thought I have lived a few years on this planet and have experienced a lot of emotions. But when I held my little one in my arms, I can’t describe it – it was something else.” He added that he had never ever felt anything close to that, and it took almost three days to sink in. Our hearts are melting!
