We’ve been trying to find out more about Sara Ali Khan’s love life ever since we saw adorable pics of her with Kedarnath’s assistant director, Jehan Handa a few months ago. Their cutesy posts and sweet captions for each other had us convinced that something was cooking between the two. However, rumours about them dating soon fizzled out, and we’ve been trying to find out what’s new in her life since then. And now, we’ve come across something that is making us wonder if a wedding is on Sara’s mind.
During a recent interview, the stunning actress spoke about her equation with mom, Amrita Singh, and revealed the one thing she’d look for in her partner.
While talking to a leading daily about her relationship with her mom, Sara shared that she is totally dependent on her. “I can’t even come to an interview without matching my bangles to my outfit with the help of my mother,” she said. The actress added that she cannot live without her mother, “Meri aukaat nahi hai, mummy se door bhagne ki. Kahin bhi bhaag jao, ghar toh wahin jaana hai, roz (I am not capable of running away from my mother. Wherever I run away to, she is the home I have to return to, every day).
Sara also revealed the one thing she’d look for in her life partner. She cheekily mentioned, “I’ll even get married to someone who can move in and live with my mom. I’m never going to leave her.” Awww, major #MotherDaughterGoals!
The Kedarnath actress even spoke about the impact of living with a single parent. She explained, “Living with a single mother in today’s day and age makes you a little tougher and harder than you need to be. You don’t live in La La Land for too long then. You see the world for what it is.”
Every time Sara talks about something, we can’t help but sit up and take notice.
We’ve been in love with her ever since her first appearance on national TV on Koffee With Karan. From admitting her crush on television to being vocal about her parents’ divorceーwe find her candid attitude quite refreshing.
