The newest celebrity kid on the block, after Janhvi Kapoor, to make her debut in Bollywood soon is Sara Ali Khan. And today, at the trailer launch of her first film, Kedarnath, it was her outfit that had our attention more than the trailer.
Sara Ali Khan’s stylist, Tanya Ghavri, dressed her in a beautiful lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the launch event at the JW Marriot Mumbai in Juhu. The outfit, that had a pristine white lehenga skirt, a matching organza dupatta, and a statement-making floral appliqué choli, was so pretty that any woman is bound to have a “Cinderella moment” in it, just like Sara.

Speaking of fairytales, the sheer blouse consisted of multicoloured flowers in different sizes that were sewn together on top of a sheer underlay. The deep neckline, skin-like sheer fabric, and no jewellery barring a pair of small pearl studs and a multi-stoned ring only added to the outfit’s ethereal charm. This must be what angels dress like in heaven, am I right?!
Her makeup artist for this look, Pompy Hans, gave her basic kohl-rimmed eyes in a popping purple colour, a sheer lip gloss, and silver glitter nails to complement her ensemble. When your ensemble is a knockout piece like this, who’d want to draw the attention away from it with loud makeup?

But, believe it or not, a floral blouse with such extraordinary needlework is more versatile than you think, especially when it is multicoloured. Not only will it pair perfectly with all your lehengas and skirts, but you could also wear it with high-waisted trousers and sarees. New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and we suggest pairing a showstopping piece like this one with a pair of white culottes and pumps for a standout look.

Sara also showed us that loose curls are the easiest hairdo one can sport, and go perfectly well with all kinds of outfits.
