Future PM? Sara Ali Khan Says She Might Pursue Politics Some Day

Sara Ali Khan, though only two films old, has made a mark on the industry and has amassed a whole lot of fans. They love her for her elegance, her candid nature and her ability to relate to young girls. The fact that she looks gorgeous in a white salwar kameez helps too, I guess. Even before she set fire to the big screen, she had already made a place in the hearts of everyone with how she carried herself during an interview with KJo on the Koffee couch.

Currently, Sara is shooting for David Dhawan’s film Coolie No 1 starring alongside Varun Dhawan. Before stepping into the world of glitz and glamour, she was studying in Columbia, New York.

Talking about this, she said, “Studying away from home gives a sense of independence and immense opportunity for the young to know themselves better. Studying abroad has taught me to respect diversity. Studying in New York helped me discover myself as people did not recognize me as the daughter of Saif and Amrita. It has made me tolerant and inclusive. I tell my brother, Ibrahim to study outside, somewhere away from home.”

She was also asked what her alternate career would be if not acting. To this, the Simmba star said that she would be a politician or a lawyer. She even said that it’s never too late and could pursue a career in politics at a later stage in life.

Talking to a media portal, she spoke about the pros and cons of entering the world of cinema as a star child. She said, “Star children do get it easy, but it also comes with scrutiny and there are a lot of people who are waiting for a star kid to make a mistake or fall. I am aware of that. But I don’t take all that seriously.”

She also made it known that she is aware of the scrutiny she is under but chooses not to pay heed to it so that it doesn’t affect her performances.

On the work front, her next release is going to be the sequel of Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aryan which is hitting the theatres on the day of love, February 14th. We wish Sara all the very best for her upcoming films, we’re pretty sure she’s going to set fire to the silver screen.
