Sanya Malhotra’s Makeup Decode For Wedding Season
Crown Creation
Begin with styling your hair first. After shampoo and conditioner, apply a serum to damp hair and then blow-dry your mane. Create a small centre parting and apply a small amount of gel on the tendrils of either side of the parting. Tie all of your hair into a low bun. Wrap the base of the bun with a gajra and secure it with bobby pins. Apply more gel to the crown area and sides to make your hair look sleek and shiny.
Airy Base
Since it’s a winter wedding, you will need to create your base to withstand the weather conditions. Start with a hydrating CTM routine and prep your skin with primer oil. Blend a creamy foundation on your face and neck and opt for an illuminating concealer. Set your concealer with a setting powder only.
Soft Contours
Go in for a barely-there cream contour beneath your cheekbones and leave it at that. Opt for a highlighter on your cheekbones and brow bones and groom your eyebrows with a brow gel. Apply a peachy, cream blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend outwards. Spritz on a setting spray.
Classic Set
Opt for a classic eye makeup look to complement your traditional ensemble. Begin with prepping your lids with an eye primer and then applying a matte pink eyeshadow in the crease of your lids. Use a pale white eyeshadow on the lids. Create winged eyeliner on your upper lash lines and a kohl pencil on the outer half of your lower lash lines. Finish with mascara.
Scarlet Rose
Paint your lips red as it is the most classic shade of lipstick one can think of. Opt for a red shade that has blue undertones so that it is more berry-toned rather than bright or coral. Outline your lips with a red lip pencil and then fill it in with a soft matte bullet lipstick.
