Luxury consultant and blogger, Sanjana Banaik of The Purple Window knows all about keeping it fun and classy – she knows how to work the picture-perfect outfit, travel with an agenda and be a fun foodie, all at the same time. Her blog is a reflection of who she is and her quest for “all things beautiful” and that’s why it’s a treasure trove of interesting ideas and details. Whether she’s carrying her precious Dior and flaunting her loubs in style, Sanjana surely recreates a different world in her blog, a world that is full of positive things and mostly happy ideas. P.S We absolutely love her bag closet. As she joins our POPxo Blog Network today, she tells us what makes her tick.
With both my mom and dad being in the business, I have grown up surrounded by fashion. Be it things such as browsing international magazines at home as kid or having designers and buyers over for dinner.
My great-grandmother used to dress up in a crisp white salwar kameez with silver buttons, leather ballerinas from Bally and hair neatly coiffed in a bun.
Clean, casual and comfortable. It has to be effortless otherwise it doesn’t work for me.
The honest answer is boredom. I had moved to a new city and didn’t know anyone, so I started writing about things I liked as a hobby and it just took off from there.
Stay true to yourself and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
Shorts with a tank and sneakers.
Bags, bags and more bags.
I would never wear something that I am not comfortable in.
As clichéd as it sounds, success to me is being happy. Doing what I enjoy, being surrounded by loved ones and having a closet full of Chanel goodies.
Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, for daring to be different.
I can bake some mean cupcakes.
I am very hardworking and freakishly organised.
I can’t really think of anyone, just happy being me.
POPxo is a great platform and I am excited to join the blog network. I look forward to sharing my stories with the POPxo readers.
