But my adoration for his designs grew even more when I saw Alia Bhatt don a pearl white saree by him for her wedding day. It was that day that I decided it had to be Sabya or nothing when I got married! But this girl went a step ahead and wore the designer to her graduation ceremony and I absolutely love it!
Sydney-based Krina, took to her Instagram to drop a video from her wholesome graduation ceremony with a caption, “Wrapped up my academic journey with grace and touch of tradition.” To mark this special milestone, Krina picked a white Sbaysachi saree that was equal parts graceful and chic. The drape featured tasteful flower prints, a glittery border, and the designer’s signature tassel detailing. She paired her look with pearl earrings and choker and I love how she went with a white bag to complete her look.
Hold on, there’s another amazing part about her graduation outfit. She actually rented her Sabyasachi saree from Pyaari Pieces, a South-Asian luxury designer rental wear store. Isn’t that a brilliant idea? Why shell out a fortune to buy a designer outfit when you can simply rent it for your special day? Not only is this a practical approach but a sustainable choice too. Brownie points to her for this!
