Back in 2019, Deepika Padukone and Sabyasachi Mukherjee appeared in a candid interview with BOF, where they talked at length about the extravagant world of Indian weddings. When asked to comment on Deepika and Ranveer’s much-talked-about wedding, Sabyasachi revealed the best things he got to experience at the shindig.
Talking about the same, the celebrated designer quipped, “I’ve never had the kind of food that was served at Deepika’s wedding, ever in my life. Ranveer told me that she went for multiple food tastings and it was just very well-curated. The venue was perfect and at the same time it was such a big wedding at its stature, but the wedding was very intimate, and cultured, and they had people who mattered to them.
