But this time people have noticed a whole new thing about the designer’s posts.
Team Sabyasachi recently posted a picture from their latest photoshoot. The caption reads, “Zari embroidered organza saree, silk blouse and veil with hand cut sequins, worn with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.” While the outfit looked stunning as always, there was another detail that caught everyone’s attention. Many users pointed out the fact that Sabyasachi models look “unhappy” and stand like a ‘dukhi aatma.’

In all honesty, Sabyasachi’s collections have a melancholy vibe and it is a beautiful aesthetic. I, for one, dig this whole mood board! Most designers prefer to keep the models’ expressions neutral so as to keep the focus on the clothes. And if the end result is as gorgeous as the saree in this photoshoot, then who really cares, right?!
